Deadbeat Dad? Find Out How Many Times Robin Thicke Has Seen His Son Amid Messy Custody Battle

Robin Thicke and ex Paula Patton have had a very public, very messy divorce followed by an even messier custody battle over their six-year-old son Julian.

Patton recently won temporary sole custody of Julian, allowing Thicke supervised visits with his son three days a week. Since then, though, Thicke has only seen Julian once.

“He did not exercise his right to spend time with his son and the monitor on Saturday, citing a business meeting," a source close to the couple said. "However, Paula offered alternate times that Julian could see Robin with the monitor that weekend, but he declined all visitation. These are the actions of a father who claimed he wanted to spend time with his son.”

However, a source close to Thicke says this is all just his ex trying to make him look bad. “Patton keeps trying to bury him, and this is a concerted effort to prejudice the public against him. He has taken no such campaign against her,” the source said. “He’s taking this extremely seriously, and it’s unfortunate and very difficult when you’re on the receiving end of a campaign of negativity.”

Earlier this month, Patton filed court papers saying she'd “become concerned about Thicke’s drinking and drug use, as well as the forms of punishment he is using to discipline Julian,” citing excessive spankings. “Paula very much wanted to keep this within the family, as she believes that was in Julian’s best interest,” a source said. “However, she has to fight back to protect her son."
