It's the moment fans have been waiting for...a Ryan Edwards update! The Teen Mom OG dad recently left rehab after receiving treatment for substance abuse. His ex and baby mama, Maci Bookout, finally opened up about Bentley's dad.
“We’re all just taking it one day at a time, one step at a time,” the MTV star told Life & Style magazine. “Ryan is doing good."
She continued, "He’s doing what he needs to do and that’s all any of us can ask right now. We’re just trying to make sure he stays focused on himself.” As fans watched on the MTV reality show, Maci was extremely worried about Ryan's health and even broke down in tears during an episode over the fear of him dying. The mother-of-three said that her ex will never have to fight through his struggles alone because "he’s got me.”

Maci explained sticking by Ryan's side was for their one son together, 8-year-old Bentley, and it's been a "rollercoaster." Adding, “But in times like these, if you feel like you are running out of strength, you just have to keep digging deeper.” It was reported in early June by E! News that Ryan checked into rehab two weeks prior.
And while Maci sticks by Ryan's side, she's got quite the support system herself! She gushed over her husband and second baby daddy, Taylor McKinney, saying, "He’s my best friend and knows everything about me.” Adding, “It’s definitely nice to have him there with me to listen to me or to give me advice or to just be present. He is a great, great guy.”
