Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks walked the red carpet last night at the premiere of their new film, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, at the Ziegfeld Theater in NYC.
The film, which also stars child actor Thomas Horn, centers around a highly intellectual nine-year-old who searches NYC for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father, who died in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001.
"On camera, our characters really had an antagonistic little thing going because we didn’t really understand each other, but as actors we really got to know each other because we spent a good few days together," Thomas explained to Access Hollywood, at the premiere, of working with Sandra, who plays his mother in movie. “Off camera, you know, we would talk and she was really concerned about making me feel comfortable on set."
Sandra, who has a one-year-old son Louis, knows a thing or two about being a devoted single mother, so we know she'll deliver a strong performance in this film.
