For the 7th year in a row, Glamour magazine held its Women of the Year awards gala, which honors women across the world for their achievements in the entertainment, philanthropy, education, fashion, and political industries. America also presented Malala Yousafzai with "The Girls’ Hero" award for her work educating young girls after the 16-year-old was shot by the Taliban. Malala is also one of the youngest-ever nominees for the Nobel Peace Prize.

And last, but never least: Lady Gaga. She accepted her "Monster Talent" award (for five Grammy Awards, 23 million albums sold, and more than 40 million Twitter followers) in a demure white suit, crazy crimped hair, powdered face, and stacked heel. Oh Gaga, always the minimalist.
