Speaking on the talk about Morgan, Whitfield said it wasn’t hard taking the gossip straight to Fields since she felt it was the right thing to do.

“It wasn't tough because I didn't start the rumors,” Whitfield said.

“I know what it is like firsthand to constantly have your marriage and personal life talked about, scrutinized and criticized outside of your presence,” Whitfield said. “Though me and Kim aren't besties, we are obviously in the same social circle. And I can relate to her in the fact that we are both moms raising kids that are sometimes privy to some of the negative things said via friends, internet or TV."
