There have been many engagement rumors in the Teen Mom community lately. Although stars like Maci Bookout and Jenelle Evans are waiting for proposals, this isn’t the first time they’ve flaunted a rock on that finger! Ryan Edwards and Maci Bookout were briefly engaged in 2009. Cameras even followed the Teen Mom OG star as she went wedding dress shopping on one of the episodes. Their relationship ended after an on-camera breakup because of Ryan’s lack of involvement in his fiancée and son’s lives. The mother-of-two is now seeking a proposal from her current boyfriend and baby daddy, Taylor McKinney.
The most cringe-worthy proposal was when Gary Shirley got down on one knee and popped the question to Amber Portwood on a beautiful beach. Sounds like a picture perfect proposal, right? It was until Gary put a pink, heart-shaped ring from Walmart on Amber's finger. We all know how that engagement turned out!
Although Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra tied the knot in August, they called off their first engagement in July 2013, only months before their wedding. Tyler ended the engagement on VH1’s Couples Therapy. “I thought I was ready,” he said. “But as the time gets close, I just don’t think so.” Luckily for Catelynn she got a new proposal and ring!

Jenelle Evans’ first engagement was from ex-boyfriend Gary Head, who she began dating in 2011. Despite cheating on him with ex Kieffer Delp and Gary cheating on her with her best friend Tori Rhyne, they got engaged. But Jenelle thankfully never walked down the aisle, as she called it off in June 2012.

Jenelle’s most recent ex-fiancé Nathan Griffith proposed during a getaway to St. Thomas in January 2015. Despite an on-again, off-again relationship, the parents of 1-year-old Kaiser eventually called their relationship off over the summer.
Mackenzie and Josh McKee ended their first engagement in October 2012. But Josh proposed again in January 2013 – and they’re happily married today!
Briana DeJesus had a brief engagement to ex-boyfriend Shoc in November 2014. Although there have been a bunch of messy Teen Mom engagements (we’re looking at you, Jenelle!), nothing was worse than when Briana broke up with Shoc. He got revenge on Briana for breaking up with him by posting explicit photos of the Teen Mom 3 star. Good riddance!
TM3’s Katie Yeager’s engagement to ex-fiancé Joey Maes ended when she caught him cheating on her! “It was awful,” a source told RadarOnline. “When you are with somebody and live with somebody and you kind of put your whole entire trust in somebody and you have a kid with somebody, that’s like the last thing you would expect — and Katie knew the girl from when she was younger.”
