The Bachelor Recap: Kelsey Collapses, An Eliminated Contestant Returns And More Jaw-Dropping Moments!

Carly received a date card that read, “Let’s come together.” And that’s exactly what they did! The duo met with a love guru, but according to Chris, “She’s not a love guru, she’s a sex guru!” The woman had the duo work on their intimacy, as they awkwardly rubbed each other. Carly even blindfolded Chris and fed him chocolate-covered fruit! The duo then had to take each other’s clothes off. Stripping down to his pants, Carly didn’t feel comfortable enough to take them off. “This is the worst date of my life! Every second I just want to not be doing this,” Carly said in her confessional.

But luckily for her, Chris felt the same way and the duo just stuck to breathing. They eventually kissed, which made the awkward date worth it. “Going through this awkward situation, we’re at a point where we can get our guards down,” he explained.

Megan, Becca, Samantha, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Jade, Kelsey and Whitney went white-water rafting for their group date. While the date went well (Chris even warmed Jade up after she fell in the water!), it took a turn for the worse when eliminated contestant Jordan came to the cocktail party to ask for another chance. If you don’t remember Jordan, she was the one who got drunk every chance she could. “I left Chris and I got home and I was like, 'how did I let that happen?' Not taking you up when you asked me about myself. I was nervous and I don’t think the wine helped. I’m asking for a second chance.”

Chris let Jordan stay for the party, but the ladies were not happy! “The thing with Jordan is that I feel like she’s such a party girl and I’m so not and I don’t think she’s marriage material,” Ashley said. The situation even led to a fight between Ashley and Whitney after Ashley told the ladies to not be nice to Jordan. “You could be upset… but the fact that you’re going to say, 'I’m going to be mean'... it blows my mind,” Whitney said. In the end, Chris ended up sending Jordan home because of how uncomfortable and upset the women were. 

After learning that Britt and Chris took a nap together, Kelsey took her relationship with Chris into her own hands by sneaking off and speaking to him in his hotel room. That’s when she told him how her husband died of heart failure as he was walking to work one day. But things got strange fast when Kelsey said in her confessional, “Isn’t my story amazing? It’s tragic, but it’s amazing. I love my story. I got my first kiss with Chris and it was perfect. This is exactly what needed to happen. I know this is a show about Chris, but it’s my story too.”

Before the cocktail party, which Chris later cancelled, he told the women, “Kelsey and I had an emotional conversation today that kind of hit home with this whole process. I thought about some things today that…” He then apologized and walked out of the room. Although Kelsey was confident that she would be receiving a rose, Chris walking out of the room scared her. “I’m really nervous about going home," Kelsey said. "My story had such an impact on him that he had to cancel the cocktail party.” When the women noticed that Kelsey disappeared, the camera showed her on the floor screaming as an EMT tried to help her get over an apparent panic attack.
