The models at the Jill Stuart runway show walked with two coats of essie's "After School Boy Blazer" polish over one coat of top-coat. It's a little softer than black polish but just as eye-catching.
Can't decide between matte and gloss? Kate Spade picked up both finishes with the Deborah Lippman manicure that happened backstage. They painted the entire nail with "Pseudo Silk Kimono," the tips with a grey, and a thin line of either "It’s Raining Men," "Walking on Sunshine," or "Groove Is In the Heart."
Christian Siriano opted for a gel mani from Red Carpet Manicure. It's the kind of nail look that will go the distance, and the fact that it's gel definitely helps. Celeb Manicurist Lisa Logan painted on a stroke of "White Hot" and then "The Perfect Pair" directly on top. See how the sunny color stands out?
Tess Giberson went for a deconstructed #mani that you will easily be able to create at home. Paint one coat of JINsoon "Obsidian" and then wipe it off with a makeup sponge. You should have remains of the black polish around your cuticles.
Rebecca Minkoff doesn't fear nail art. In this Mexican-themed manicure look created with essie polish, manicurists used a tiny "dotting tool" to ace the small details in the "Butler Please" hue.
The color is sand, and just like the earthy beach grain, this nail look has no glossy shine. The look at Alexander Wang was created with essie polish in "Sand Tropez" with a coat of "Matte About You" on top.
Inspired by travel, Tibi deconstructed the "all right" symbol with vertical and horizontal lines. Paint your nails with two coats of a neutral color. After they have dried, paint a very thin line through the center of your nail with JINsoon "Obsidian."
Tracy Reese got this look for herself backstage! The look was inspired by window panes. Use Tracy Reese for Sally Hansen in "Batbano Blue" and a solid black to get the look.

Diamonds ARE a girl's best friend, and Honor obviously knows that. They placed tiny gems near the cuticle over the Deborah Lippmann for Beauty.com's "La Vie En Rose."
An understated blue is always cool. It only takes 2 coats of butter LONDON's "Lady Muck" with a coat of matte finish to complete the look.
The nail artists backstage at Libertine + Dannijo used foil overtop of butter LONDON's "Union Jack Black" to create this collaged effect.
ICB x Prabal Gurung show simplified nail art. Using butter LONDON's "Nail Foundation" followed by "Leccy," a strip of foil was added down the center of six of the models' nails. The nails that weren't adorned with foil were treated with a tip of glitter.
A solid pale pink should never be overlooked—especially if it's Jenny Packham inspired. The nail look at Jenny Packham's NYFW show was created with a layer of essie's "Eternal Optimist," "Allure," "A Cut Above," and 'Set In Stones."
White nails are one of our favorite looks from this past summer, and they're coming back! Models donned two coats of essie's "Blanc" at Nanette Lepore's Spring 2014 show.
Half-moon tips at Disigual's show! MAC used "Steamy," Fiestaware," and "Impassioned" together to top the models' tips.
This one is bound to be a favorite come wedding season. The Milly Mani consists of one coat of a natural base color (butter London Global Colour Ambassador Katie Jane Hughes used butter's "Nail Foundation") and a solid white half moon shape created with "Cotton Buds."

Awing over an Aurora Borealis? Apparently Betsey Johnson has a thing for the color sensation as well! The nail look was inspired by the work of nature and was mastered with layers of Morgan Taylor's "Could Have Foiled Me," "Adorned In Diamonds," and "Sweetest Thing."

At the LOVE by Diego Binetti show, models worked an almost-lattice work, lacy manicure. The manicurists secured this femme look with a coat of "Make It Last" by Morgan Taylor. Let's be real—this mani NEEDS to last.
