This week’s episode of The Little Couple was extra special because it featured Will & Zoey’s first day of pre-school! Read on for a full recap which, in true TLC fashion, featured tons of other cute family moments, too.

OK! Exclusive: Do Will and Jen Want to Adopt a Third Child?

First things first, we got to see the little ones head off to school! Jen and Bill were worried that since their kids are smaller than their classmates they’d have trouble using everyday items in the classroom, but their own personalized stools helped solve that problem. And the stools even made a great prop in the kids’ first day of school photo!

Well, it was an attempt, at least. Jen and Bill tried to get the perfect pic of their little ones before their big day, but they weren’t exactly cooperating. Oh well! This one will have to do.

We find out later in the episode that while Zoey loves school, Will has been having some trouble adjusting. He most likely still has memories from the orphanage that cause him some issues warming up to unfamiliar people, but that little guy is resilient. We're sure he’ll be adjusting in no time!

With the kids safe and sound with their teachers, Jen headed back to work at the children’s hospital. She was dealing with a patient who was having issues with his airway, and her task of the day was to teach his mother how to handle it if there was an emergency situation and the baby stopped breathing when no doctors were around. Scary!

But then when the weekend came along, it was back to mom mode for Jen, who helped out with the kids’ weekly swim lessons. Jared, the family’ swim instructor, has been working for a while with Will, who seems to love the pool.

However, Zoey didn’t take to the water quite like her brother did. She has her days where she loves the pool and others where she probably thinks Jared is drowning her, but hey, she still has plenty of time to get used to it.

After the fun-filled swim lesson, Bill and Jen presented their kids with the best toys they've ever gotten—life-sized, driveable cars given to them by a family friend! The dad and son duo share a love for cars, so this gift is basically perfect.

And it became a battle of the sexes when Zoey and Jen competed against Will and Bill as they drove their cars in an empty parking lot. The parents’ height came in handy here because they were tiny enough to fit in the cars with their kids!
