Tyra Banks is a single woman. According to Page Six, the model, 43, and her photographer beau, Erik Asla, have split after five years of dating.
The couple’s break-up comes after recent reports that the two were having relationship problems following the birth of their 21-month-old son, York Banks Asla. However, things seemed to have settled down between the two, as an insider claimed they had an amicable split.
“It came drama-free and they’re co-parenting their young son,” a source close to Tyra told Page Six.
While Erik, 52, has moved out of his and Tyra’s Los Angeles mansion, Page Six reports, the exes plan to remain friends and colleagues as they will continue to work professionally together.
“He is slated to shoot the photos for the opening credits of . . . the upcoming America’s Next Top Model,” said the insider. Ironically enough, Tyra and Erik first met when he was a guest on the Norwegian version of ANTM.
Amid the initial breakup rumors, back in May, Tyra put her Battery Park City apartment on the market for $17.5 million.
