Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe called out The Bachelor producers for not letting her do Dancing With The Stars after her season of The Bachelorette.
Last month she tweeted that she was offered to do DWTS, but that Bachelor producer Mike Fliess "told me I wasn't allowed." She added, "He said he didn't want people wanting fame after his show," along with a confused face emoji.
Bachelor Nick Viall is doing DWTS this season, and that sparked Bristowe's Twitter rant. She argued that Bachelorettes were not given as many opportunities as Bachelor contestants.

Now DWTS producers Joe Sungkur and Ashley Edens are are responding to the controversy. Edens told The Hollywood Reporter, "there's no rhyme or reason" to why certain Bachelor alums appear on the show. "In some seasons, it works out, and some seasons, it doesn't. This season we wanted Nick," she said.
When asked if they felt not enough Bachelorettes were included on the show, Edens said, "It's based on when we're casting and the whole cast we're pulling in and what other reality stars we already have in place."
