ACM Nominations: Miranda Lambert Trumps Taylor Swift

Miranda Lambert is still the reigning country queen — when it comes to Academy of Country Music award nominations that is. The crooner from Texas nabbed seven 2011 ACM Awards nominations, which were announced today on CBS' The Early Show. Beloved country star Taylor Swift, 20, trails Miranda, 27, with four nominations.

Miranda and her fellow country star Ronnie Dunn announced the nominees for the Academy of Country Music Awards.

At last year's  CMA Awards, Miranda was recognized with nine nods, but this year she has her first-ever nomination for ACM Entertainer of the Year, along with Single, Song, Female Vocalist, Vocal Event and two slots in the Video of the Year category.

Coming in at No. 2 on the nominations leader board is a tie between Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band with five ACM nods apiece.

Taylor Swift ties with The Band Perry with four nominations, followed Lady Antebellum, Lee Brice, Easton Corbin, Alan Jackson and Keith Urban all have three.

Nominated alongside Miranda for the biggest category of the night — Entertainer of the Year — are Taylor, Keith, Toby Keith, Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley.

Fans have the opportunity to choose the winner in that big category as well as the Top New Solo Vocalist and Top New Vocal Duo or Group categories, through online voting which closes Feb. 24 ant 12 p.m.!
