It is just days since doctors told Amy Winehouse that her life will be in danger if she doesn't clean up her act.

But from this photograph taken last night, it seems that the star is not heeding their grave warnings.

Amy was snapped at the launch of her club night, Snakehips, apparently with some kind of white powder caked in her nostril.

The singer had been DJing at the new event at the The Monarch pub near her home in Camden, London.

British music site NME.com says that the Rehab singer arrived at 10pm, nearly two hours late for her set.

Wearing a heart embroidered with the name of her imprisoned husband, Blake, she spun Motown, soul and ska classics until 1.15am.

The site said that she was surrounded by fans taking pictures and videos all night.

"The singer seemed in good spirits despite the constant attention," reports the site, "but did head backstage on a few occasions to take a break from the crowd."

And when she emerged from the bar at 2am, despite her attempts to cover her face with a cardboard box, pap shots clearly showed that there was a lump of mysterious white powder inside her right nostril.

The 24-year-old was only discharged from hospital on July 1 following a two week stay that began when she collapsed in the street outside her home.

After extensive testing the star, who has battled with crack and heroin addiction, was diagnosed with the potentially deadly, incurable lung disease, emphysema.

Her father, Mitch Winehouse, told reporters that doctors say that if she doesn't stop smoking drugs, the condition could kill her.
