Amy Winehouse may be in the beautiful Caribbean island of St. Lucia trying to escape her demons, but it looks like some of them have finally started catching up to her.

On Wednesday, Norway's online newspaper, Nettavisen, reported that the Rehab singer is due to appear in a Norwegian appellate court in Jan. in connection with an Oct. 8, 2007, drug arrest.

Amy, 25, was on tour in Western Norway when she and her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil were busted for pot possession. They paid a fine to make the charge go away but Amy later decided to appeal the fine, claiming police deceived her into signing a confession.

Per Winehouse's camp, agreeing to the fine in Norway is essentially the same as pleading guilty. And that delayed her ability to get a U.S. visa application, forcing her to miss the 2008 Grammys, where she won five awards. She accepted them and performed via satellite.
