Black Eyed Peas Half Time Show Better Than Previous Super Bowl Performances?

Last night's Super Bowl Half Time Show marked a departure from the classic rock performances of the past. Chart-topping pop music group The Black Eyed Peas rocked the stage with a high energy routine and some help from legendary guitarist Slash. But usually we see rock 'n' roll heavy hitters ranging from The Rolling Stones to Tom Petty to Bruce Springsteen! Did you like the change up?

It was a return to the pop days with BEP infiltrating millions of living rooms last night during the highly-anticipated Super Bowl XLV — last time pop and hip hop took the stage was in 2004 during the Rock the Vote performance by Janet Jackson, Diddy, Nelly, Kid Rock and Justin Timberlake (remember Janet's wardrobe malfunction!).

From 2005 to 2010 rock royalty ruled the stage starting off with Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and then last year The Who!
