George Clooney joins Don Cheadle in Darfur Now, which is the documentary about the human rights crisis taking place in Sudan.

“George and Don are extremely self-aware that they aren’t politicians,” producer Cathy Schulman says. “It’s great that they can get people to stop, look and listen, but neither one of them can believe that this has come down to them.”

Don, 42, says giving back puts everything in perspective for celeb activists. “Do you want to be on record between you and your God and your family and friends as having tried to do something? Or just make as much money as you can and get a nice, big house, cool-a** cars and nice clothes? You can do that, too, but I don’t think that’s how you want to measure yourself.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt; Jessica Biel, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, Matt Dillon, Edward Norton and Rosario Dawson lent a helping hand behind the scenes.

What’s Don’s Ocean’s Thirteen costar Brad like as a dad?

“He tried to change my diaper one time, and I wasn’t into it,” Don jokes to me.

Darfur Now opens today in New York and Los Angeles.
