Bad boy Colin Farrell has a soft spot for six month-old son Henry, but he isn't a traditional dad in the lullaby department.

Does he ever sing to him?

“I do, actually,” the Irish actor, 33, says Wednesday during the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his mermaid fantasy drama Ondine. “Yes. Every now and then. It’s probably not suitable, but I find myself singing Fairytale of New York to him quite often.”

Still, don’t expect to hear him crossing over from acting to record his own music.

“God, no,” he says. “I only have one song in me.”

COLIN AT TRIBECA PREMIERE OF ONDINE:

Colin met and fell in love with girlfriend Alicja Bachleda, 26, (who is Henry’s mom) while filming with a little help from the Sigur Ros tune All Alright, which provides an ever-present soundtrack to the flick.

“We wouldn’t have made some of the rash decisions that we made without that song,” Colin admits. (He is also dad to son James, 6, with model ex Kim Bordenave.)

For Alicja, pulling herself away from their baby to promote the film makes her miss the little guy.

“He’s great,” she says. “He’s sitting up already. His smiles are lovely.”

She swears by a tried-and-true baby weight-loss technique.

“Women know that breastfeeding helps, so that’s what I did,” Alicja says.

Meanwhile, Colin sounds off against reports he’s dropped out of Something Borrowed now filming in NYC with Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski.

“Oh, I was never in it,” he tells me. “I wasn’t in that film.”

Hmm, would he like to work with Kate in the future?

“Sure!”

Ondine hits theaters June 4.
