As they walked the red carpet arm in arm at the Oct. 7 London premiere of High School Musical 3 — he in a dapper black suit, she in a sexy leather jacket — Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens looked, in every sense of the word, the perfect match.
And according to co-star Ashley Tisdale, who plays bad girl Sharpay Evans, the two Disney stars couldn’t be more well-suited for each other.
“Vanessa and Zac are a great couple,” Ashley gushes in the October issue of Seventeen magazine. “They are as much in love offscreen as they are in HSM. There’s such a great chemistry that it's like a fairy tale.”

Indeed, the twosome have been practically inseparable ever since they first met on the set of High School Musical in 2005. “I don’t know what it was with Vanessa,” Zac, who turned 21 on Oct. 18, has said, “but we kind of clicked from the very beginning.” That’s not to say they haven’t had bumps along the way. The relationship hit a rough patch
after nude photos of Vanessa, 19, hit the Internet last year.

Still, the young couple managed to work through the controversy. “It’s only made them stronger,” a pal of Zac tells OK!. “He’s getting better with compromising and loves to do little things, just to see Vanessa smile.”
