There’s been a ton of talk on who will be tripping the limelight fantastic on this season of Dancing With the Stars, which kicks off its sixth season March 17, from fired Celebrity Apprentice and Olympic gold medalist Nadia Comaneci to celeb reality daughter Brooke Hogan. (One person we know for a fact won’t be doing it is Carmen Electra. Read all about that here). Tonight, find out who really earned their dancing shoes when DWTS announces it new contestants during the finale of Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, at 8 p.m. on ABC – you got to love that network synergy!
As for all this talk of professional ballroomer Maksim Chmerkovskiy exiting DWTS, never fear. I’ve been told the studly dancer is just taking a mini-break to work on personal projects, like spending more time at his dance schools in New Jersey and Long Island, and will be back on DWTS when the show returns for its seventh season in September. Hmmm, Saddle Brook, N.J., is only an hour away from me. I think that’s one bus ride worth taking!
