When you’re watching a double dose of Cane tonight– CBS is rolling out two back-to-back episodes of the generational family drama – take note of star Jimmy Smits’ impressive build. I got the chance to see the man in the flesh at New York City's American Museum of Natural History as he arrived for CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute last Thursday, and I can tell you, Jimmy fills every inch of his 6’3 frame. On tonight's show, Jamie preps for his nuptials, while home invaders hold Alex and Frank hostage at gunpoint. But that’s not the only uninvited guest to the should-be-happy festivities. A hurricane unleashes its wrath on Playa Azul. (Well, they do say a little rain on your wedding day is a good omen!) Smits didn’t spill the beans on any of the upcoming carnage, but did say that executive producing the series is one of his top moments of the year. “It’s a career change for me, doing a little more than just acting,” he shared. “I feel blessed doing what I do, and I love doing it.”
