With all the steamy scenes on Gossip Girl, you might expect Ed Westwick wouldn't be terribly shy about showing some skin, but apparently the hunky actor is more conservative than you'd think.
At Monday night's Dressed to Kilt charity fashion show in NYC, where actors, models and musicians showed off the finest in Scottish man-skirts, Ed admitted he didn't have the you-know-what to go commando underneath his bit of plaid.
"I'm going to be shy and wear my underwear," he said before the show.
When it came time for his turn on the runway, Ed did get into the spirit of the event, strutting his stuff for the judges — including OK!'s editor-in-chief Katie Caperton — and showing off his sexy arms for the fans.
And while he might have been shy last night, Ed did reveal that he's not completely put off by the idea of flashing the full monty on-screen someday. "For the right movie — and the right price — I’d welcome it," he told reporters.
