In Hank’s new NBC comedy he plays Alex, a recently divorced man who works in public relations. Kathryn Hahn stars as Helen, who works with Alex and also happens to be recently single.

Surprise, surprise — They get together.

In a clip from the premiere, Alex and Helen arrive to work after hooking up the night before and Alex is put on the spot by his co-workers for “looking like hell.” He then is asked to share what he did the night before.

“I met a woman last night and we had wild animal sex all night long, okay? Was that good for everyone?”

But they wanted more details.

“Normal, of course,” he said. “Dog style. Cat style. Reverse crab, that happened. The penitent farmer. Lazy busdriver. The turducken, that was fun. Oh, the flying dutchman! And really that’s the limit of my imagination because, honestly, I was up late working.”

While this scene may have mustered up some laughs, early reviews (AOL TV and Entertainment Weekly) are saying the show fell short on comedy.
