File this one under "So Totally Weird But True": after PETA obtained a gym towel soaked in George Clooney's sweat, they were inspired to create a Clooney-flavored line of tofu. Yes, tofu with the taste of a famous actor's sweat.

EOnline.com reports that the animal lovers wrote a letter to George seeking his permission, saying, "The technology actually exists to take your perspiration and make it into George Clooney-flavored tofu (CloFu). Of course, your fans would swoon at the idea of eating CloFu."

The group even quotes a researcher, who says, "If you use a sample of human perspiration, it is 'no different than making artificial chicken flavor for instant gravy.' "

What is the point of having CloFu anyway? PETA's got an answer: "Cheese-scented CloFu could be used as pizza topping and in lasagna…CloFu will help people be healthier and more environmentally friendly and will spare animals from being killed for the table."

As for George, his response is pretty predictable, saying, "As a mammal, I'm offended."

Right there with ya, George.
