Gwyneth Paltrow sang along to Ellen DeGeneres‘ opening monologue in an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Friday. Later in the show, Glee‘s Darren Criss and the Warblers performed Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream.”
Gwyneth proved that life can really be like a musical by singing along to Ellen’s opening monologue with songs like “Isn’t She Lovely” and “Bye Bye Bye.”
The 38-year-old actress, wearing a beautiful white Yigal Azrouël dress, then sat down to chat about the possibility of recording an album.
“Well, I haven’t signed anything, but I’m thinking about it,” Gwyneth told Ellen. “I kind of have to get my head around the concept of it and how I would want to do it. Do it in a right way. It’s hard to think of switching because all the singing I’ve been doing has been coming out of Country Strong or Glee. So I think, how would I do that? Just a record by myself feels a little scary to me. I would like to, in theory, but we’ll see.”
And Gwyneth was joined on the show by fellow Glee stars Darren and the Warblers, who are busy promoting their new album.
