Haley Joel Osment has grown up a lot since that famous whispered line (you know the one) in The Sixth Sense: This fall he’ll be entertaining a whole new audience as he makes his Broadway debut.

The 20-year-old actor has signed on to join Cedric the Entertainer and John Leguizamo when he makes his Broadway debut in David Mamet’s play, American Buffalo. Directed by Robert Falls of Chicago’s Goodman Theatre , the play will start previews Oct. 31, and officially open Nov.17 at the Belasco Theatre in N.Y.C.

American Buffalo is the second David Mamet play to be revived this fall; Speed-the-Plow, starring Jeremy Piven, Raul Esparza and Elisabeth Moss starts previews Oct. 3 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre and opens Oct. 23.
