After six seasons of drama, trips, marriages, sun and plastic surgery, it all came down to a fake goodbye on the Paramount Pictures movie set in L.A. Everyone is talking about the final two minutes of The Hills, in which "friends with benefits" Kristin Cavallari and Brody Jenner share a tearful goodbye — only to reunite in front of a movie backdrop.
"The thing is, as you saw on the end — what's real and what's fake, you don't know," Brody explained to fans during the live aftershow broadcast on MTV.
"Our relationship, the entire time, could have been fake," he continued. "That's one of the questions: what was real and what was fake, and we left it open."
As for his "co-star"/partner in crime, Kristin — who has been maintaining all along that the show is fake — she was very pleased with the ending as well.
