Jennifer Hudson has been confirmed to perform at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8, it was announced on Monday.

The Oscar-winner, who is nominated for four Grammys for her self-titled debut album, is slowly easing back into the spotlight after the Oct. murders of her mother, brother and nephew. Her performance at the Grammys will be her second televised public appearance since the tragedy. Last week it was announced that Hudson will  sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Feb. 1, in Tampa Florida.

Hudson is up for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song (for "Spotlight"), Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals for her duet with Fantasia ("I'm His Only Woman"), and Best R&B Album.

The 27-year-old sang the national anthem at the Democratic National Convention in August to a rapturous reception, but she is not expected to take part in any of the festivities for President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration.
