Kate Bosworth got her breakout role in 2002's surf flick Blue Crush. For the role Kate put on twenty pounds of muscle which helped her become famous for her fit physique. Afterwards, Kate took roles in dark dramas like Rules of Attraction and Wonderland before returning to the mainstream in Win A Date With Tad Hamilton! and Superman Returns. Kate enjoyed an off-and-on relationship with fellow actor Orlando Bloom for a few years. In 2010, Kate went public with her relationship with True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard, though they break up in 2011.
