Ever since the Casey Anthony trial began, buzz about a Hollywood adaptation of the captivating case has circulated. Yesterday, the 25-year-old was found not guilty of the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. So what's next? Many suspect a film centered around the trial and Kristen Stewart has already been pinpointed as a good choice to play Casey.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Marisa Guthrie made the suggestion that the 21-year-old Twilight star would be a perfect fit to play Casey during a recent interview with The Insider.

“She’s got the dark hair, sort of the vacant, deer-in-the-headlights look,” Guthrie said of Kristen who is gearing up to star in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which hits theaters in November.

“We have not had a televised murder trial, a really big high profile one since O.J Simpson,” Guthrie also pointed out, suggesting that Hollywood might choose to make a film adaptation of the Casey Anthony trial.

Yesterday afternoon, Casey was of first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie, by the jury — consisting of seven women and five men. She was also found not guilty of aggravated child abuse and not guilty of aggravated manslaughter.

The jury’s decision was read aloud from inside the Orlando, Fla., courthouse after 33 days of dramatic testimony and almost two days of emotional closing arguments.

Casey was found guilty on four counts of providing false information to law enforcement officials and will be sentenced for those crimes Thursday at 9 a.m.

Casey’s innocence means she has escaped the death penalty.
