It's a good thing La Toya Jackson isn't taking advantage of the tragic passing of her superstar brother Michael Jackson to put herself back in the spotlight after years of faltering in obscurity.

After all, she could do something really obvious like go out to dinner with a classy fellow like designer — and Jon Gosselin buddy — Christian Audigier at a restaurant like Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills where the paparazzi are known to roost to snap pics of publicity-hungry celebs.

Yeah... good thing she's not doing anything like that.
