LuAnn de Lesseps has always kept certain aspects of her personal life private – such as her divorce from her ex-husband – to avoid having the cameras “hurt other people.”

But the Real Housewives of New York star told OKMagazine.com that fans could expect her to be more open about her personal life and latest business ventures when season seven airs.

“I’m really forthcoming with what’s going on in my life,”de Lesseps told OK! at her Resident magazine cover launch. “It’s very exciting and it’s been seven seasons and I have really not come up with a business for myself. I was married to a French aristocrat and I had my house and my children, so it was really about that. Viewers are now going to get to see me being a business woman.”
