The original Material Girl herself, Madonna, has hit the streets of the Big Apple. All bundled up, Madonna was spotted leaving an NYC apartment building yesterday. Just this week Madonna has won a case between herself and the family of her adopted daughter, Mercy James. According to reports, the biological family of Mercy has no legal right to see her.

When Mercy James was adopted by new mommy, Madonna, no visitation rights were included in the adoption agreement that was made 2 years ago when Mercy left the orphanage in her homeland of  Malawi. Mercy was left in an orphanage as an infant after her 16-year-old mother died while in childbirth. Reportedly, Alan Chinula, who is Madonna's lawyer, denied claims she ever promised regular visits.

Madonna has recently been spotted out and about with a new man. According to X17, Brahim Zaibat is the new 24 year old b-boy dancing beau. The two have been spotted out here and there for the last few months but any word of an official relationship are being kept on the DL.

Business-lady Madonna also has named Kelly Osbourne the new face of the 2011 season of her Material Girl collection. Prior to Kelly, the face of the rocker chic line was Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen. "Congrats to @MissKellyO for being the next Material Girl, it doesn't get bigger than Madonna! U look beautiful!" Taylor tweeted.
