Country singer Miranda Lambert can’t get enough of Rihanna’s style.

“She is constantly surprising me with her style and inspiring me to break out and try new things,” the 25-year-old beauty, whose new album Revolution is out now, tells me. “Well, I don’t necessarily get inspired by the whole no-bra thing, laughs but I love that you never know what she’s going to wear. It always keeps you guessing, which makes her sassy and interesting.”

How does Miranda incorporate risk into her own fashion sense?

“I haven’t taken too many risks in my style, but one thing I do is I put retro, vintage pieces with some classic pieces together to make it my own style. It’s definitely my own thing. Mixing trendy and classic is what makes you have your own style.”

How has her style evolved since breaking out on Nashville Star in 2003?

“My style has come a long way,” she tells me. “I used to not have any style at all laughs, and when I started on Nashville Star, we worked with a stylist, so I started learning my niche and learning what worked on me and what didn’t. I still have a lot to learn about style, but I love to take risks, and I love to try new things. I’m always going to try to reinvent myself as much as I can just to keep it exciting.”
