Today’s up-and-coming artists were out in force on Monday night to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Music Unites at Cooper Square Penthouse in NYC. Musicians like Tamarama, Jaicko, Rachel Platten, Maino, As Tall As Lions, NIIA, Matt White and DJ DL came together from different genres and areas of music to celebrate the non-profit organization.

Tinsley Mortimer, Richie Rich, The Postelles and Eric West also celebrated Music Unites at the event sponsored by Annie O. Music Series and the Cooper Square Hotel, sipping on Double Cross mixed drinks and Arizona Iced Tea.

Music Unites is dedicated to bringing music education to underprivileged children in underfunded inner city school systems, with past events at cultural events from the United Nations, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall, and featuring artists from Sting to Mark Ronson.
