NICOLE RICHIE GETS FOUR DAYS IN JAIL

Nicole Richie, 25, pleaded guilty July 27 to driving under the influence of drugs and was sentenced to four days in jail in connection to her December 11 arrest for driving the wrong way on a California freeway. A court commissioner sentenced her to four days in the City or County Jail. She got credit for a fifth day because she served six hours when she was arrested. Nicole, who is reportedly pregnant with Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden's first child, must serve her time by September 28. The Simple Life star was also fined $2,048, must attend an alcohol education course for 21 days and is on probation for the next three years.She was previously convicted of a DUI in June 2003. In her December arrest, Nicole told police she had smoked marijuana and taken Vicodin. She allegedly failed a sobriety test.The commissioner told Richie that if she drove drunk again and killed someone, she could be charged with murder - not manslaughter.Photo: Wireimage.com
