OK! Exclusive: Inside Katherine & Josh's Honeymoon

Their wedding was a winter wonderland, but Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley's honeymoon was the complete opposite. The newlyweds, who tied the knot on Dec. 23 in Park City, Utah, jetted off to sunny Los Cabos, Mexico, and stayed at the exquisite Esperanza Resort, where they holed themselves up for the first night.

"The first night we got to Esperanza, we stayed in, ordered room service and just loved being together," Katherine tells OK!.

When they did make it out of their room, the couple took in the resort's private six-course meals and chilled out on the beautiful sandy beaches.

"It's a beautiful place with a beyond-relaxing environment," she says. "You can have a fancy evening or do nothing at all and be just as content."

But all good things must come to an end — Katherine and Josh, 28, returned home to Los Angeles and are currently moving into their new house.

"We are excited and and anxious to get into our new house because it's a symbol of our lives starting together," Katherine, 29, says. "Newlywed life is very similar to ours before marriage. We are staying home a little more, and I am definitely cooking more. There is a weird sense of being settled and calm, but it's a great feeling."
