Hollywood has turned to Twitter to react to Osama bin Laden‘s death. After President Barack Obama announced Sunday night that the terrorist responsible for the 9/11 attacks was killed by U.S. forces, the Twitterverse boomed with patriotism and celebs from Charlie Sheen to Paris Hilton to Jersey Shore‘s finest Vinny Guadagnino shared their gratitude to the military.

“Dead or Alive. WE PREFER DEAD! Well done SEAL team! AMERICA: #WINNING that’s how we roll…. c” Charlie Tweeted, thanking the Navy SEALs — the branch of the armed forces involved in the attack.

According to NBC News, Bin Laden, who was 54, was shot in the left eye and killed after a gunbattle with Navy SEALs and CIA paramilitary forces in the city of Abbottabad, outside of the Pakistani capital, Islamabad.

“Just landed back in LA, so happy to hear the news of Osama bin Laden’s death. He was the face of terrorism and such an evil man. The world is a much better place with him not in it.” Paris shared.
