Alex McCord and Jill Zarin may not be the closest of friends on the Real Housewives of New York City anymore, but this weekend they found themselves attending the same open house party in the Hamptons! "I can tell you that you can see at this party that we are not talking to each other," Alex explained to OK!. "We’re giving each other a wide berth."

Distinctive Management, LLC and PRIME Real Estate hosted an Exclusive Preview Fête of Panoramic View Resort & Residences in Montauk, N.Y. on Saturday, which is the ultimate escape for busy New Yorkers!

Alex and Jill enjoyed a tour of the breathtaking property on the ocean, while trying to avoid each other.

"I’m really impressed. It’s a good location and it’s not that far past Amagansett and it’s beautiful," Jill told OK!. "It’s breathtaking, the ocean. To get ocean fun, condos and easy living is very hard out here."

Jill and her husband Bobby Zarin are renting in the Hamptons this summer, "so this is something we might consider," she says.

"I love the decorating. You know I love fabrics. Fabric, fabric, fabric," Jill explained to OK!. "When I saw the fabric on the walls downstairs I said probably not a good idea because of the humidity with the ocean and the salt, but aesthetically it’s drop dead."

Alex and her husband Simon van Kempen stayed on the property with their children Francois and Johan.

"We actually went straight to the pool with the kids of course. It’s great it really is. It’s kind of the best of both worlds because you’ve got a kitchen and it’s like an apartment," Alex explains of Panoramic View Resort & Residences. "You also have the amenities that you sort of wish you had at a beach house like towel service and someone else to clean the pool and that kind of thing. But it’s not a resort where you’ve got waiters all over you."

While Alex loved the property, she's not sure she's ready to commit to the Hamptons just yet!

"I don’t know that we’re going to buy in the Hamptons. Don’t forget we’re the warm water babies. But at the same time I would never buy in St. Barts because a lot of our friends own in St. Barts and I hear their headaches constantly," Alex tells OK!. "So I suppose the short answer is I have no idea."

But it is growing on her!

"I mean prior to the show we would either come out for Memorial Day weekend, which is our anniversary, or we would come out for the film festival. That’s actually where the Hamptons feels like work came from when we first starting doing the show because it was," she says. "And now that the only thing on the agenda is having fun I’m enjoying it more."

However, she did bump into her coworker!

Both Housewives seemed surprised to see the other one there!

"I don’t know if they’re buying," Jill told OK!. "I haven’t had a chance to say hello yet."

But the "chance" never seemed to happen.

"Um no. I have not talked to her about it," Alex says about both being interested in the property.

During the Real Housewives reunion show, Alex basically wrote Jill off as a friend. So are things improving between them now?

"Well, I can tell you that you can see at this party that we are not talking to each other. We’re giving each other a wide berth," Alex explained to OK!. "We’ll see what the future brings. At the moment, I like to surround myself with people who are positive and genuine."
