Bravo executive and Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen may live large now, but the man behind the Real Housewives franchise hasn’t always had a smooth ride.
In fact, he was once fired from a job he liked.
“I was a waiter in Boston,” he begins. “I was such a great waiter, but I was 20 and I took a shift drink after my shift, and they fired me on the spot. I was so mad! I was such a great waiter.”
Nowadays, he’s excited about his new memoir, Most Talkative: Stories of the Front Lines of Pop Culture, which hit stores Tuesday.
“It’s about me. It’s about how a geeky, gay kid from St. Louis went from living in front of the TV to making TV and working at CBS News, and then being on TV.”
Catch Andy on Watch What Happens Live, which airs Sundays – Thursdays at 11 p.m. ET on Bravo. And pick up his book, Most Talkative: Stories of the Front Lines of Pop Culture, which is out now.
