Robert Pattinson appeared this morning on The View to promote his new film Remember Me, but of course the prying ladies couldn't help but get off that topic and ask Rob the tough questions — mainly what was up with his Details magazine interview?

"Did I make this up, or did I read that you said something about vaginas?" Barbara Walters asked RPattz regarding his comment in Details saying he was allergic to vaginas.

Rob couldn't help but immediately laugh at the question, probably because it was coming from Barbara but then explained, "I learned two things from that interview. Never try to make a joke during a print interview and never do interviews, ever."

Toward the end of the interview, Rob was asked by a viewer whether he would date an older woman and his answer was almost as good as his Details interview.

"I think Betty White is probably one of the sexiest women in America," he tried to say without cracking up. "She's vibrant, it's sexy. I think the more age the better."

Sounds like Betty is Kristen Stewart's top competition!
