Just because your tiffs are played out in newspapers, TV shows and in high-profile blogs it doesn’t mean they’re any more of a big deal than any little row between friends, according to Rosie O’Donnell.

Last night she told OK! that her mini-feud with Barbara Walters was over with, and that they’re just as good friends as they were before.

The pair fell out last week after Barbara, a current host of the View, said that “some people who have done this show, then for years feel that they have to dump on it, maybe for their own publicity.”

It seemed that former host Rosie took that a little personally and posted a video of herself on her blog apparently being stunned into silence by the remarks.

But last night, Rosie said that there’s “no hard feelings” between her and her old pal Barb.

“It’s okay between us,” she said at her Building Dreams for Kids gala in New York, before playing the whole thing down with a little rhetorical question.

“Do you have any friends in real life?,” she asked OK!. “Do you always get on with them 24 hours a day? Right!”

And Rosie said that even after Barbara’s snide remarks, she doesn’t regret her time on the View.

“I think you live your life, you do the best you can and you can watch it all happen on YouTube and then take your own notes and make your own conclusions,” she said.
