Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall trot down the red carpet arm-in-arm chatting cheerfully like long-lost pals during SJP’s premiere for her romantic comedy Did You Hear About The Morgans? held Monday at NYC’s Ziegfeld Theatre.

“It’s great to be here,” Kim says.

Will there be a SATC 3?

“My God, we haven’t discussed that at all yet,” Sarah Jessica says. “We’re just trying to finish Sex and the City 2.”

The actress emphatically says “no!” when asked about whether Aidan would reappear.

Inside the theater, the SATC co-stars are joined by Cynthia Nixon, which makes for a splendid night out for Sarah Jessica, 44, who has son James, 7, and twins Marion and Tabitha, five months, waiting at home with hubby Matthew Broderick, 47, whom she wed in 1997.

How does she do it all?

Sarah Jessica says, “There are other mothers that are far better equipped to answer that question. It’s wonderful. It’s fantastic. It’s thrilling. You should ask all those other mothers. They do it, too, and they do it with less help probably, right? And far fewer rewards.”

How have the twins changed her life?

“It’s a total blessing and we’re thrilled,” she says.

Co-star Hugh Grant is in awe.

“It’s freaky,” he says. “In the time she did all that, I achieved nothing, so I don’t know how she does it. I think it’s permanent Blackberrying.”

Co-star Elisabeth Moss, who wed SNL’s Fred Armisen earlier this year, also admires Sarah Jessica.

“She’s a model for all working women who want to have it all. She seems to. And she seems to handle it all so graciously as well.”

What’s something we don’t know about SJP?

“She is a fierce competitor,” co-star Kim Shaw tells me. “We used to play a bunch of games on set, and she had to win. She was hardcore. She’s very fair, but she just wins. We played a game called Murder, where you have to clothespin each other – everybody gets a Polaroid on set, it lasts about 3-5 days – it was so much fun. Running Charades, which is one of Mary Steenbergen’s creations. I’m not sure where she got it from, but nobody wanted to play at first, and after we played for 15 minutes, we couldn’t stop.”

Co-star Jesse Liebman says her energy is one reason she can be all things to all people.

“She’s tireless,” he says. “She’s upbeat the whole time. She’s positive, optimistic and a ray of light. That’s what she seems to be. Her attitude. She knows how special it is to do the work she wants to do, and work with the people she wants to work with. She’s constantly singing to herself. She’s humming. Someone’s doing her makeup, and she’s humming. I couldn’t recognize the tune. Show tunes? She has a liveliness to her. You can understand why she has been able to be so successful through all of the Sex and the City and everything before it.”

Did You Hear About The Morgans? hits theaters Friday.
