The Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was just arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J.

A Jersey Shore insider tells OK! that Snooki was arrested for drinking on the beach. Our spies also say she earlier this afternoon, she was throwing back shots of Patron at a bar called E.J.'s.
Maybe Snooki had a few too many drinks and not enough pickles to absorb all that alcohol?

According to the insider, Snooki will mostly likely have to spend a night in jail to "sleep it off."
Snooki's father, Andy Polizzi, told OK! of his daughter's arrest, "I have no comment on that at this time."
A rep from MTV told OK!, "no comment," as well, and E.J.'s also informed OK! they have no comment on the arrest.
