Nearly two years ago, the film adaptation of James Sallis' Drive was announced with Hugh Jackman in the leading role as the stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver. Filming has finally begun, but instead of hunky Hugh behind the wheel it's none other than Ryan Gosling. The Notebook star was joined by Christina Hendricks and Carey Mulligan while filming in L.A. on Monday.
The stars faced the rain with smiles on their face while filming in a parking lot. During a break in shooting, Ryan and Carey enjoyed some Esponjitas (marshmallow cookies with coconut) — or at least Ryan enjoyed them. Judging by Carey's expression, she was not as big a fan of the sugary treats as her co-star.

While Christina waited to film her scene, she enjoyed her own unhealthy indulgence. The redheaded hottie stood under an umbrella while puffing away on a cigarette wearing a brown leather jacket and a purple tiger shirt. Christina's outfit was a far cry from her Mad Men character's classic retro dresses, but the cigarette is one thing that seems a constant in both Christina's characters and her own life.
