Celebrity parents vary when it comes to their style 'dos and don'ts. Bethenny Frankel and Jennie Garth weigh in with fashion mantras for their little ones.
“If $499 or less, it’s in style,” Bethenny tells me. “I have no idea. I’m not buying any expensive clothes for my child – only gifts will be the only expensive things that she has. I don’t even pay retail for myself.”
Jennie allows her daughter to spend a little more.
“My seven-year-old Lola is a fashionista,” she tells me during the Style ‘N Smile Fashion Show Fashion With a Bite presented by American Association of Orthodontists. “She’s much more into fashion. She always has been. She’s really into it. But it changes like the weather, what they will and won’t wear. My Fiona, the 3-year-old, I just let her pick because why argue with her? She has her own ideas.”
