Grammy golden girl Taylor Swift sang with Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks at the awards ceremony last night in a performance the country-music queen described as an "honor."

Clean-cut Taylor, 20, opened her performance with "Today Was a Fairytale" before announcing her duet partner, who is famed as much for her hard living as her distinctive, gravel-tinged voice.

"It's a fairy tale and an honor to share the stage with Stevie Nicks," said Taylor before launching into a duet of Fleetwood Mac's "Rhiannon."

"Stand Back" rocker Stevie, 61, then tapped her tambourine and sang backup on Taylor's hit "You Belong With Me."

Taylor was nominated for eight awards and won four, including best country album.

"I just keep thinking back to when you're in second grade and you sing in the talent show for the first time and people joke around and say, 'Maybe we'll see you at the Grammys some day,' she said in an emotional acceptance speech.
