While the world waits on LeBron James' decision about which team will get his superior basketball-playing skills, former Bachelorette Trista Sutter hopes he will land on her old squad, Miami Heat.
Now a married mom to Max, who turns three later this month, and Blakesley, 1, Trista was a dancer for the team in the early 2000s. LeBron would give the original Bachelorette and hubby Ryan a reason to return to the city she called home for seven years.
“Oh, I would love that!” Trista tells me during a Purina/Kroger Tales For The Pet Lover’s Heart event held earlier today. “Ryan always has ESPN on. I never have the television on unless it’s The Wiggles or something laughs, but I’ve heard about the possibility of him going there, and I would love it. To be able to go back to Miami and maybe see a game if LeBron was playing would be fabulous. I’m all for it.”

What would she tell him about life with the team in Miami?
“I’m sure he will have more to tell me than I could ever tell him laughs if he does move there. It’s so fun. It’s such a vibrant, fun, lively city, and I had such a great time there, although it’s not my thing now. But to be able to go back to the beach would be nice, that’s for sure.”
She shares her best memory with the team.
“In one game, I had a moment with Michael Jordan that I loved because I was a huge Jordan fan. He looked over at me, and smiled, and I will never forget that. laughs”

Even though Trista is thousands of miles away in Colorado, she can always rely on her former cheerleading pals.
“I made friends that, to this day, are very close friends of mine. Just the friends I made were great, like being with a new family.”
Trista supports Purina and Kroger’s Tales For The Pet Lover’s Heart campaign, which will donate $150,000 to animal welfare organizations. Head to www.talesforthepetloversheart.com to vote for your favorite pet tale submitted by 18 animal welfare organizations. Together with Purina and Kroger, Trista will select the “Top Tale” of 2010, and award the chosen organization with $50,000. All participating organizations will receive $3,000, and four runners up will get $11,500 to help adorable pets in need.
