Sometimes when a TV series ends, the truth about off-screen relationships comes out. “She's a nightmare! She's a horror!” jokes Jennifer Garner’s Alias co-star Victor Garber. OK! caught up with Garber at Glamour’s 2007 Women of the Year event on Monday where Garner was honored as one of 14 women making a difference and inspiring others.

Garner, says Garber, “is one of a kind. I’ve worked with a lot of people and I’ve been very fortunate in my career to have worked with some great people and she is one of the greats.” Garber played Garner's Alias character Sydney Bristow's on-screen father, Jack Bristow, for five seasons.

Garber must think Jen is great — he officiated her 2005 wedding to Ben Affleck.

As a mother, says Garber, ”I've never seen anything like it. Honestly, that child is so inquisitive and beautiful, so full of life.”

And 17-month-old Violet, says Garber, is well on her way to a Mensa membership. “She’s not even two and her vocabulary is daunting! She talks about animals… she mentions where she’s been and she sings — today she sang, ‘When You Wish Upon a Star,' ” he gushes. “She’s an extraordinary kid.”

As for Bennifer II, Garber believes that “they’re very right for each other” because “neither is threatened by the other. They’re incredibly supportive and they both get what this business requires.”

And despite the fact that Jen was once married to actor Scott Foley, and Ben was once engaged to J.Lo, Garner and Affleck, says Garber, are “magical together.”
