Fergie and Jennifer Lopez definitely have some things in common. Both A-listers are celebrated performers in the music industry and Miami Dolphin football enthusiasts. Fergie performed the national anthem with J. Lo's hubby Marc Anthony at the Dolphins vs. Jets game last night in Miami and shared her thoughts on Jenny From the Block as one of the new American Idol judges.

"I'm really excited for Jennifer to be on 'American Idol,' " Fergie told Entertainment Tonight at the game. "I think she's going to be amazing."

J. Lo said last week that she can't wait to fill her shoes as a judge on the hit Fox singing competition.

“For nine years I’ve enjoyed watching artists compete to get a meaningful chance to achieve their dreams,” she said during a press conference. “I know from my own experience how hard it is to succeed, and I’m looking forward to discovering and nurturing that spirit in the many American Idol contestants I look forward to meeting this year.”
