Even if Kate Winslet is only 12 years older than her Mildred Pierce co-star, Evan Rachel Wood, we're totally buying them as a mother-daughter combo in the new HBO mini series. Oscar winner Kate plays a mother trying to provide a good life for her family during the Great Depression, while Evan is her daughter, Veda, who seems to be a bit of a rebel, and an opera singer, to boot.
